OVerhaulin Last night. Foose did a Civic Coupe

I seen the Overhaulin Last night. The worked on a civic coupe. It came out pretty cool paint wise... But they had some shop actually put in a lot of engine work. That dude was lucky he had a B16 in his car or they would have done the work on a single cam.

Wasn't really my style body wise and interior but the dude lives in Fontana,Ca so I'm pretty sure someone seen his car and will steal it for the engine. I give it about a month before its stolen. I know around where he lives, just from the house's around his.

Cool, i'd at least like to check the episode out and see how bad it looks......i'm imagining its not the worst looking civic though.....also am really suprised they did a civic, must be broadening their horizons.

yeah I saw the show... I liked the quality of the work, but some aspects did not fit the car... the paint seemed a bit over the top.. too FOOSE for me...
overall I give it about 3 stars, at least it wasn't "Pimp My Ride"

BTW the motor was a B18, 94+ GS-R (you can tell by the intake manifold)

it wasn't bad, but i wasn't feeling the body kit or the huge wheels. i liked the seats stock instead of the leather or vinyl purple and black combo that they did. didn't even change the steering wheel. still looked like the 10 year old wheel that came in the car. paint was a little bit too much. the motor was nice as well as the brake setup. I also hate the fact anytime someone mentions a tuner car, they have to say the words "fast" and "furious"

I didnt like it at all. Paint was too over the top. They should just stick to old muscle cars. The only thin good was the full motor build, brakes and stereo. I kinda liked the custom wing they did on it but other then that GAY!

Well all they did was modify the car, if it's not your taste then oh well. The outside looked pretty good, and the interior was nice. I liked the car.

it's on TLC... i saw it, it wasn't too bad. the guy's gf told Foose "subtle" ... he could have gone a bit subtler, but overall it was pretty good. at least they did the body work right and got rid of all that bondo. i like how he did the flush mount spoiler, but i agree the wheels were too big. foose is still the man.

I also saw it, and was overall impressed by what Foose did. Let's remember he gets input from the insider for what the owner wanted to do to the car.

the gf said "he wanted to do a wide-body kit" and you can tell they edited his reply to that, and just went into paint questions. You could also tell this isn't Foose's area, cause he made small remarks that at least to me, were little cuts at working on the car, but he did an overall nice job. I just look at it like Foose had to design for a F&F/ricer car guy, and what he created was in that area.

and yes, i HATE how everytime a tuner car is on TV, fast and/or furious is used in the description.. oh well. last night i said to Erin "this thing is going to be FOOSED & Furious " (making fun of the intro when they said F&F)

Paul
